Sweet ground bean sauce or smooth ground sweet bean sauce is made from fermented soybeans.Cooked soybeans are mixed with water, salt and a little wheat flour to ferment in pots in the sun.The taste is spicy and sweet at the same time.
Bean sauce is used as seasoning: as a marinade, stir-fries or as a filling for sandwiches and snacks.Because of the intense taste of the soya beans, it is advisable not to use too much of it.
