Rice vinegar is a rice vinegar made from water and fermented ketan rice.The color of the rice vinegar depends on whether polished or unpolished rice is used or perhaps on the additives.Rice vinegar from Pat Chun contains no color or preservatives.The Chinese rice vinegar is slightly stronger than the Japanese rice vinegar.
Rice vinegar is used in sweet-sour dishes.The rice vinegar has a mild flavor, is therefore suitable for flavoring sushi rice or possibly diluting it with soy sauce, sesame oil, salt and sugar as a dressing for salads.
