Sweet and sour sauce from LKK is made from water, sugar, dried corn syrup, concentrated pineapple juice, tomato puree and some additions for color texture.A well-known classic Cantonese dish Cow lo yuk (breaded and fried pork cubes in sweet and sour sauce).
Sweet and sour sauce is most commonly used for meat woks (preferably with breaded and fried meat).Because of the substance of concentrated pineapple juice in the sauce, it is advisable to use fresh pineapple and paparika as a vegetable for extra fresh taste.
