Rice table - Rice table

The rice table has its origins in the fusion of Dutch and Indonesian culture, more precisely from the region of Padang (West Sumatra).

Indonesian families used to accompany rice with an assortment of dishes to share. The Dutch settlers took over this custom and brought the pomp of the time, multiplying the number of dishes, each brought by a different servant.

Today, it is above all a friendly way to taste a variety of Asian specialties.
